For all the life
That I could be
In the dirt, in my blood
I always sink
It takes its hold
Unravels and frays
I could poison and leech
But still waste away
I can't be severed from the stream
There's no way to ever wash it clean
I'll wonder
What I deserve
On the way
Through my mistakes
I am sure
It doesn't matter
My ills will stay
Nothing will change
This album is something special. A unique marriage between Doom Metal and Shoegaze that has slow builds and long burning melodies. The vocals are hypnotic and reminiscent of old school dream pop. But for fans of heavy tunes, there is plenty here as well. The music straddles the line between dark and foreboding, and ethereal and bright. An absolute must own! lavintman1
